The WalMart greeter asked if he could borrow my shoes to chase down a man on the parking lot. I let him borrow my grandmother’s $150 pair of Birkenstock dress shoes to push a car out of the snow. After digging through 2feet of snow onthe parking lot the shoes are all scratched up and covered in oil. what should I do ?

hang it in ur bedroom above ur bed and watch it every day making u remember that u r a fool who had lend ur granma’s shoes
buy a new pair, explain it to her, or try to make them look nice. good luck!!!
ask him if he’d please pay half the money for a new pair of B. s
explain to Grandma what happened, the good deed will have its reward in time but they never go unpunished. I personally would replace and hope for the best, besides if nothing else you could keep the old ones and use them yourself.
