   You will get some weird looks but you can wear whatever you want. It’s not too attractive though.

   with capris or shorts you can; people at my school do it all the time; but with pants, wear socks.

   Hi, I am German (Birkenstock are German) and wear Birken stock. . . If you are wearing them as slippers (as my whole family does!!) -no. . If you are wearing them outside it is up to you. . . I see lots of people on german tv that wear them with socks-personaly i think it looks a bit geekish! Or you can wear them without socks as a pair of casual sandals. There is no real rule. . . !!

   You should never wear socks with sandals, no matter what time of year or what kind they are.

   Once you decide to wear Birkenstocks, it doesn’t really matter. You won’t look good anyway.
