looking for a pair of taupe or stone colored knock-off Birkenstocks for my boyfriend – a brand that is more comfortable and fits better than the Wal-mart ones, but no more than $80. I would prefer if they were at a store (so that he could try them on) but online stores are fine too.

Try going to JCPenney. I have a pair of St. John’s Bay. They fit me better than real Birkenstocks and they were a whole lot less expensive too!
i’d have 2 say st. johnson’s bay. . . from jc penney. . . or nc club from shoe dept.
