i have Birkenstock and i like em but idk if i look gay in them. also are socks permissible with them? im not sure if they fall under the sandal category.
i do mean silly not actually gay, and yeah i’m not sure if theyre sandals but i am leaning towards they are

Clothes can’t make you “look gay.” Unless you mean “look silly or stupid,” which is something entirely different.
I have plenty of male friends who wear Birkenstocks, though they tend to be of the hippie/granola variety. Socks with Birks is a very European style; most Americans don’t wear them that way.
they make birkies for guys too… PLEASE DO NOT WEAR SOCKS WITH SANDALS… EVER…
