i know wearing birkenstocks in general are a little geeky, but does anybody have a link to a picture of someone wearing them with socks? just wondering what it would look like. (might be buying them when i go to NYC) thanks!

i love birks! Idon’t find them geeky either, but i wouldn’t wear them with black socks, it would seem like you were trying to hide the fact (that would be a bit geeky). . . try just nice white socks or brightly coloured when you try them on and see if you like them. i’ve seen many people with thicker arizona styke straps and those are pretty in but i’m not sure how they would look with thinner straps so you sghould try it out for yourself and if you don’t like those you can always fall back on the arizonas!
