I am new to birkenstock clogs and am wondering how practical they are ie. can you wear them in any kind of weather, especially when it’s raining? I doubt that they stay dry, no? Also, why do people wear clogs instead of full shoes?? Don’t they fall off?

I wear my clogs indoors but I used to wash them regularly until one day they broke apart. So I’m guessing they are not super waterproof. Hope this helps…
