Gonna be visiting Berkeley California soon was wondering what attire is appropriate to fit in?

Should I wear like tye dye shirts and some birkenstock sandals? Should I let my hair grow long?

    um…how about just jeans and some closed toed shoes…like nike’s or vans….a polo or a graphic tee shirt…nothing extreme.

    theres hippies there, yes, but it is overwhelmingly filled with asian nerds because of the university :)
