hello, i had a recent unpleasant moment whilst strolling in my ‘boston style’ birkenstocks the other day and i need to know if there is something i could do to save thesole of the one shoe that got damaged, since birkenstocks aren’t cheap, i’d appriciate not having to throw them both out just because there is dog poop on the bottom of one of the shoes, do you think that shoe could be saved? how do i go about cleaning it without getting the inside soiled as well? many thanks for your advice, my shoes than you too! :O)

Plug your nose and use a screw driver to scrape off most of what you can and throw into a throw away container. Squirt the soles of your shoes again and wipe off with paper towels. Continue to do this until the doggy do is gone.
Rinse with some clear water and white vinegar to get rid of the smell and have your soles of your shoes clean again.
