I usually wear Birkenstock because I need a shoe with a wide width. I like the look of Naots better, but I’m not sure if they are as wide as Birkis. Has anyone worn both brands? Are they comparable in width?

I too am a fan of birks but I am becoming a fan of Naots. I have a wide, short (I usually wear a 7. 5 for the extra width), high arch & high instep foot. I bought a pair of sandals this spring & I love them!!! they are actually more comfortable than some of my birks, plus they are pretty. It is nice to have a heel sometimes. My suggestion would be to try on many styles. I think you will find some styles wide enough & some will not be. Try them I think you will like them.
I dotn know abt naots. . . . i often use to prefer birkis as it quite comfortable for me. Upto my knowledge is concerned birkis is having a good width that gives enough space for the toes to wiggle or move freely inside the shoe. First importance should b given to comfort than to style or look. If u r sure tat naots is perfectly comfortable then u can bag a pair of it. But b careful as improper fit may lead to foot deformities.
