I really like these sandals. They feel great & for the price, they can’t be beat.

I bought these as a replacement for my first pair of Newalks – no desire to spend $50 to get new soles under a $30 pair of shoes! This is the disposable version of Birkenstock.
So how do they compare with the real deal? The foot bed is really the same and the soles look the same and wear out within a similar short time frame (always been the weak point of Birkenstock; have them resoled with fibram soles for extra mileage and ‘off-road’ use). The leather top, though, is really flimsy. It won’t stay up. You can’t just slip in and run. It stretches out. I’d think the leather won’t survive a second round (after resoling). On the positive side, flimsy means you are less likely to get blisters (when walking bare feet, but that’s what they are for, I suppose). Betula, the previous cheap line of Birkenstocks, was definitely of higher quality.
The bottom line: it’s a good deal if you can get them for less than $30.

I didn’t like the way they gouged my instep. They were very pretty but the nasty red mark on my feet had me give them to a relative. I normally wear the Florida style. . should have stuck with that. They may be licensed by Birkenstock and have the footbeds but they definitely are not of that quality.

I bought some Birkenstock Arizonas about 8 years ago. They are still going strong but just for fun I thought I might try something similar. These rate an OK for comfort once you get them on, however the flimsy upper swede straps fall down on the sole once you remove your foot. When you go to put them on again, each time you have to lift up the straps to get your foot in the sandal.
