   The dogs won’t know the dfference between an ‘okay’ shoe to chew, and a ‘bad’ shoe to chew. How can they know?? Don’t give them any shoes to chew on. Give them a rubber Kong toy or something else.

   LOL. My dog loves to chew on my Birkenstocks too and they aren’t cheap! My suggestion would be to buy some generic rip-offs and let your pup go to town on it! However, you don’t really want to encourage your dog to chew on shoes. . . . . . . . . . . . .
   Hmmm. . . . . . . .
   Have you tried substituting it with things made for pups to chew on like Rawhide bones or chew toys?
   Try buying some knock-offs though! I couldn’t find any dog toys that look like Birkenstocks. They have toys that look like sneakers though!

   P. S. Your has good taste. They are great shoes. I wear mine all year round even in the snow!

   This is not a real product. But maybe you are referring to Birkenstocks repair/replace policy.

   This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a household pet take a liking to a pair of Birkenstock footwear. It’s really quite common, actually. The Boston clog seems to be the preferred mistaken chew toy. Fortunately we all know that every part of a pair of Birkenstock footwear are either repairable or replaceable so even if your most beloved pair falls victim to a set of K-9s you should be able to love them still, for years to come.
