Should i waterproof my new birkenstock clogs? ?

I just bought these, they are leather/suede, and i wonder if it would damage them to waterproof them, or if anyone else had any ideas. thanks

Leather is usually fine in the rain, but I wouldn’t go jumping around in puddles with them on. I don’t know about suede though. Maybe ask a shoe shop repairman or something. Or you could always go to the birkenstock website and see if they are waterproof. I don’t really know how you would waterproof clogs, but try it!
