   I think it means size 41 M European, US womens size 11B (medium) or US mens size 9. If that’s right, I don’t see how a size 40 could be 6 1/2. Have you tried http://lmgtfy. com/?q=shoe%20sizes ?

   That means European shoe size 41. B indicates narrow width. It’s roughly equivalent to a women’s U. S. size 10.

   If your U. S. shoe size is a 6 1/2, your Birkenstock size will be 37 or 38. Since they don’t come in half sizes, go to a store and try them on first. Make sure to try them with socks if you intend to wear them with socks (which I highly recommend).
