I have extra soles but want to take them off and put on the same size soles from a pair I won’t wear. $35 plus ship on line. Can anyone tell me what glue would work over the long term and in rain etc?

It`s not exactly a glue but get a tube of 3m gasket sealer.Your shoe will wear out long before the sealer does.
There is actually such a thing as shoe glue – you can probably find it at a shoe store or in the shoe section of a department store.
the glue you need is called SHOE GOO.
