   toms shoes. they r very comfortable and cheap. i have two pairs. i am only 12 but everyone in my school has them (even teachers) and loves them. And same with uggs and nike shox.

   For a less expensive alternative, try Earth Spirit. They are sold at Wal-Mart for around $20 and are very comfortable and come in many styles similar to Birkenstocks. . . . . but for MUCH less. I am very picky about my shoes when it comes to comfort and this brand is the best within my budget that includes heel and arch support. Plus they use Earth friendly materials

   My favorite so far is the Alana, the Willow is comfortable as well, but I don’t care for the heel strap.
   Dr. Scholl’s also has some shoes similar in comfort and price, but they don’t look as nice.
