I am going into an interview with a shoe store that specializes in Birkenstock shoes. Are there any tips or recommendations anyone out there can give me that I might need to know about Birkenstock shoes?
Anything and everything is welcome, I didn’t even know there was a shoe company called Birkenstock until a week ago -living under a rock you say? Why yes, yes I am.
Don’t worry I have researched the website, I was looking to see if there were any people here that did sell Birkenstock, and maybe what they would use as sales tips. Thank you all

well, apparently their shoes are made out of a cork material that forms to your feet over time so theyre wicked comfy and good for your feet. however, i would google and do your research elsewhere, like the company website. . . . .

I don’t know much but I splurged and bought a pair. IMHO they are really nice sandals but heavily overpriced for a cork sole and little leather straps. But yes, I will buy another pair! The reason is simple. I wear sandals year around. Love em, hate shoes. The birkenstock sandals have a formed foot bed that has heel cups, arch support and little ridges under your toes. Is what this means is it is FAR more comfortable and you don’t have to scrunch your toes when you walk to keep the sandals on. Unlike normal el cheapo sandals who have a flat foot bed the birkenstocks support the foot, so esp for someone like me who wears sandals as their main shoes, I really feel these are better. They were recommended to me by a foot doc. I think birkenstock just makes sandals. Not sure on that one tho. If they make other shoe types it is certainly their sandals that made them well known.
