My top five least fave super-popular trends of 2004-2008 have to be: 1. ‘04-’06: Those rubber bracelets! It started with the plain yellow Livestrongs, which were pretty cool, but then people started collecting and wearing multiple bands at a time. There was a kid in my fifth grade class that had over a hundred of them!
2.’04-’06: Crocs! Everyone seemed to wear them everywhere, but then they sort of died-out and now the only people that wear them are nurses and gardeners. (I’ll admit it- I had a pair! They were pink and green tie-dyed. Not the fashion choice I’m most proud of.)
3.’06-’07: Birkenstock clogs. Way back in the day only old men wore those Birkenstocks. Now, every company sells them, in some knock-off form or another, and everyone has them.
4. ‘04-’05: Super-ultra lowrise jeans. I’m sick of looking at butt-cracks and muffin-tops! Buy a belt, people!
5. ‘06-’08: Destroyed jeans! Why pay for only half a pair of pants? I must say the rips are getting dangerously big!
Yes, you’re so right! Number six will definately be leggings, and directly underneath of it should be huge bug-eye sunglasses.

My band director owns a pair of them- BRIGHT. ORANGE. ONES. Thankfully, he only wears them to our car washes and to band camp =D

but I completely agree with you. Livestrong bracelets were meant for a good cause. Now they’re just a fashion icon with millions of knock-offs.
i also hated the bracelets, i had a livestrong one and another one, but then i’m like “this is dumb!”
crocs are also pretty bad. they are so ugly.

I agree with all of these…. especially crocs…I was the one right from the beginning saying they were lame and totally making fun of them and everyone I knew was like they’re gonna be a trend that lasts since they’re so comfy…but turns our I was right……so HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I agree with you on the crocs and the clogs. I can’t believe people actually wear those. I like the rubber bracelets, jeans, and sunglasses though, and the leggings are okay, just not on me. I hate how some guys have really long hair and wear tight pants, I don’t think that’s a good look on guys.
