I’m just wondering why do people who dress “Preppy”? I personally love Lacoste,Juicy Couture,Rugby,Abercrombie & Fitch,Anthropologie,Gucci, Ralph lauren,The North Face,Patagonia,Birkenstock,Uggs,Vera bradley(i know vera bradley are only handbags ).
Well i’m not a snob i’m actually very friendly/nice. But people who don’t even know me get the impression that i’m spoiled and conceited. I mean even my friends think i’m spoiled and really preppy. I don’t see why people make such a big deal of my parent’s buying me everything. I’m 14 and it’s not like i can work yet…..
I don’t hate Preps.
Most people Stereotype Preps as (Like you said) snobby, conceited, rich, spoiled kids.

So you have a lot of nice things, expensive things and expensive taste, but you’ve done absolutely nothing to earn them. This can bring out resentment in people who have to work hard to get even the small things in life. My guess is that you have no real idea of the value of what you have. When someone gets handed the expensive things, without having to work for them, thats the very definition of spoiled.
I’d say people get the impression that you are spoiled, because you are. As to being conceited, I couldn’t say just from your text, but a good rule of thumb when hearing negative things about yourself from others is, if the same things keep coming up, then most likely there is a nugget of truth there.
